Hey, they missed us too! After such a drought again Orville Content, things are finally getting hotter than the show long-awaited return (and Debut on Hulu!) is fast approaching. Today that means a brand new trailer that gives a glimpse of what to expect from the show’s third season. The Orville: New Horizons.

Looks like the crew of The Orville will be deeply embroiled in a slew of conflicts — and by extension a quest for peace — involving their established enemies: the super-aggressive Krill (the extraterrestrials who kinda look like Klingons) and the even more super-aggro Kaylons (the killer robots who despise all biological life forms). And it also looks like we’re getting hefty doses of the show’s signatures, including plenty of exciting space action, unique characters, and a tone that blends seriousness with casual humor. Bortus (Peter Macon) will bring his A-Game, Gordon (Scott Grimes) will make anachronistic demands for the workplace, and why exactly is Captain Ed Mercer (series creator and writer Seth MacFarlane) dressing like a sheriff?

The official synopsis for Season 3 reads as follows: “Seth MacFarlane’s epic space adventure series The Orville returns exclusively as a Hulu Original Series. Put 400 years into the future, The Orville: New Horizons finds the crew of the USS Orville They continue their mission of exploration while navigating both the mysteries of the universe and the complexities of their own interpersonal relationships.”

In addition to the aforementioned trio, the returning cast includes Adrianne Palicki, Penny Johnson Jerald, Jessica Szohr, J Lee, Mark Jackson and Chad L. Coleman; Anne Winters is also in for season three, and you can get a glimpse of her character’s navigational skills (or lack thereof) in the trailer above. Oh, and just because The Orville: New Horizons switched from Fox to Hulu doesn’t mean it’s going to get a binge release; It will be a weekly release starting June 2nd. You however can Binge seasons one and two now on Hulu.
