List of 2022 TCA Awards winners: ‘Abbott Elementary’, Mandy Moore and more

The winners of the 38th annual Television Critics Association (TCA) awards were announced on Saturday and ABC Abbott Elementary School outclassed the competition with four lead winsincluding Individual Achievement in Comedy for star/creator Quinta Brunson, Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding New Series, and Coveted Program of the Year.

Other highlights: It’s us‘ Mandy Moore – whose Emmy snub was heard ‘around the world’ – won individual directing honors in theatre; Netflix is ​​canceled babysitters club won Outstanding Youth Programming for the second consecutive year; Hulu’s Dope triumphed as an outstanding limited series; and HBO Succession won the award for Best Drama Series.

This is the third year in a row that the TCA Awards have scrapped their traditional in-person ceremony due to the pandemic. The reviewers group has, however, collected pre-recorded acceptance speeches from all of the winners – you can watch those above.
