The Mets opened their five-game series against the Braves at Citi Field with an emphatic victory, as they took an early 5-0 lead and eventually won 6-4. Edwin Díaz recorded a six-out save, and no matter what happens in the other four games of the series, the Mets will wake up Monday morning in first place in the National League East.
